I own and cruise a Beneteau 361 out of Norwalk, CT. I have completed: a) US Sailing Safety at Sea Seminar (Boston, March 2013) including Medical and Weather-Gulf Stream modules, b) Advanced Cruising course (Norwalk to Maine, Aug 2012) at Sound Sailing Center, c) Near Coastal Safety at Sea Seminar (Mystic Seaport, Feb 2014). I have been sailing for 40+ years, first one-design racing on home waters of the Potomac River and the mid-Atlantic, then crewing on 30-40’ keelboats for Chesapeake Bay YRA racing campaigns. Cruising experience: coastal Pacific (San Diego – LA), Chesapeake Bay, and LI Sound. Can serve as ship’s medical officer due to career in biomedical sciences and the pharmaceutical industry, and first aid training. Adaptable, low-key, competitive racing spirit, physically fit, sense of humor, excellent sailing instincts. Available for practice sails. Can do outbound (preferred), or return, or possibly both. Interested in any available crew role.
