"The mast went in without a hitch last weekend.  Thanks to Buzz Ballenger for making a beautiful spar that fit perfectly.  Dobbs Davis came up from Annapolis and measured the boat on Monday.  We actually made the measurement deadline with a couple of days to spare!  The hoses are on the engine and the filters mounted, but it’s still not quite running."

If these words aren't familiar, the sense of urgency should be to anybody preparing a boat for the June 20 start of the 49th Bermuda Race.  Actually, these words will seem miraculous to people who know who wrote them -- Peter Rebovich, skipper of the Cal 40 Sinn Fein.  Nearly totaled by Hurricane Sandy, the two-time St. David's Lighthouse Division winner has been resurrected by her crew and friends at Raritan Yacht Club in New Jersey

The dramatic story of her recovery is told in the boat's blog, suitably titled "Sinn Fein Lives," that's among those posted here.   Also there are blogs  from the classic Olin Stephens yawl Dorade, the double-hander Gryphon Solo 2 (winner of the Atlantic Cup),  2012 Gibbs Hill Division high finisher Bella Mente, and other race entries.

Posting your boat's blog is easy.  Just email the link to [email protected].
