Complete Your Crew Lists
Friday is the deadline to finalize crew lists in the entry system, see NOR 3.6. Entry managers are urged to check for outstanding tasks (see the ‘Tasks’ tab on your entry homepage) and closely view the ‘Crew Checklist’ to see if you are missing critical training or Categorization requirements for your entry. Updates should be made in the Sailor Portal.
Apply for Special Entry Prizes
There are many Special Entry Prizes that require both qualification and pre-registration to be eligible. Apply for these Prizes on the Sailor Portal under the ‘Awards’ tab on your entry home page:
- Glenn Family Prize (Boats with at least four family members, or both in Double-Handed)
- Regional Prizes (Trophy for best yacht performance for Canada, Chesapeake, Deep South, Great Lakes, and Pacific)
- City of Newport Trophy (Best foreign-crewed yacht)
- Stephens Brothers Youth Prize (50% of crew under 23)
- New for 2026 - John D. Osmond Memorial Prize (First Time Skipper/PIC)
To be considered for any Special Entry Prize, competitors must apply for each special entry price the the Awards tab of your entry, found in the Sailor Portal under: Events > My Event Entries > Awards
All applications must be completed no later than: 0900 EDT — June 19, 2026. Competitors are encouraged to review eligibility requirements carefully and ensure all information is submitted prior to the deadline.

Register your Team
Teams of three yachts from the St. David’s Lighthouse, Gibbs Hill, Finisterre, and Double-Handed Divisions may register for the H. Irving Pratt Trophy. Boats may be from the same or different divisions. Each yacht can only participate on one team—please confirm with teammates before submitting your entry to avoid disqualification.
Each boat in a winning team receives a custom “keeper” trophy—an engraved plaque featuring their yacht’s name and unique hull lines from US Sailing archives.
To register a Team you must complete the Team application found in the Sailor Portal under: Events > My Event Entries > Teams
CCA members may register a two boat team for the 1896 Thames Trophy on the same page.
