Dear Sailors:

Today’s message is a reminder that the organizers have made arrangements with two COVID-19 testing services which you may work with, at your option, to obtain the required negative pre-race tests to allow you to receive your Bermuda Mariner’s Travel Authorization. To date, about 20 percent of the fleet has registered with one of these services—either TestZone or Fit to Fly BDA.

TestZone provides either in-person testing at Sail Newport (race headquarters) or proctored testing by video. The registration deadline for on-site testing is this Friday, May 20th (click to pre-register).

Alternatively, if you choose to register for a proctored Antigen test with FittoFlyBDA, or make your own arrangements, you have more time. Whatever your choice, we urge you to be proactive in making your choice now as to which option is best for you and your crew.

Please read full details about all options on our COVID-19 page and follow links to register.

Warm regards,
Mark Lenci, Vice Chairman
