Episode 1: The Race to the Gulf Stream
The 2026 Newport Bermuda Race is underway, and in Episode 1 of the Gulf Stream Show Powered by Palm Beach Motor Yachts, Lauren Zike and the Palm Beach 70 leave Newport behind and head offshore in pursuit of the fleet.
As the fleet settles into the first miles of this 636-mile classic, the stories are already unfolding offshore.
Episode 2: The Race through the Gulf Stream
Black Jack 100 takes Line Honors, and the crew checks in with the crew of Hound as they work through the changing conditions, catches up with the Willauer family aboard Breezing Up to talk about family traditions and generations of Bermuda Race memories, and meets the Argentine crew of Lykke as they take on their first Newport Bermuda Race.
Finally, Stan Honey gives his take on the 2026 race so far.
Episode 3: The Race from the Gulf Stream
The fleet battles light winds as competitors work their way toward Bermuda. Host Lauren Zike catches up with the crew of Banter, while offshore racing veteran Charlie Enright provides expert analysis and meteorologist Chelsea Freas delivers the latest weather outlook. The episode also features interviews with the crews of Thunderhead and Northwest Wind on staying motivated in challenging conditions, along with a profile of the youngest sailor in the fleet, just 13 years old.
Episode 4: The Race to the Finish Line
The finish line is in sight as the fleet makes its final approach to Bermuda. In Episode 4, Lauren Zike catches up with the double-handed team of David Southwell and Erica Lush aboard Alchemy, the young crew aboard Crazy Horse, and the Finnish team aboard Galiana. Around-the-world sailor Rich Wilson joins us as our expert analyst, and we step aboard Gesture, the yacht that won the Newport Bermuda Race 80 years ago.
Episode 5: The Celebration in Bermuda
In our final episode, we celebrate what makes the Newport Bermuda Race so special—the camaraderie, the stories, and the smiles waiting on the dock.
Join us as we catch up with Selkie and Spirit of Bermuda on their final approach to the Onion Patch before soaking in the atmosphere at Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, where crews reunite with family and friends and swap stories of their thrash across 636 miles of ocean.
From first-timers to race veterans, every crew has a story to tell—and this is where those stories come together.

Think of it as the evening news for the race — a daily show that brings together updates from the fleet, expert analysis, and real stories from sailors out on the course.
We will be reporting from the Gulf Stream itself aboard the Palm Beach 70, thanks to our Presenting Partner, Palm Beach Motor Yachts, helping bring viewers closer to one of the most strategic and fascinating parts of the racecourse.
Along the way, we also plan to connect with experts ashore who can help explain what is happening, from weather and routing to strategy and race developments.

How Will It Work?
Each day, we will gather content and interviews from the fleet, combine it with expert commentary and on-the-water coverage, and turn it into a show that helps viewers understand both the competition and the experience of racing to Bermuda.
We expect to feature:
- Short live or recorded interviews with sailors offshore
- Video clips and photos submitted from boats
- Reporting and filming from the Stream aboard the Palm Beach 70
- Expert analysis from shore-based guests who can provide context on weather, tactics, and race strategy
The result will be a daily program that is informative, visual, and human — giving race fans a more complete picture of what is happening beyond the tracker.

Important Note on Racing Rules
Talking to the Media Team during the race does not constitute outside assistance under the Racing Rules of Sailing.
All interview questions will be general in nature and will not provide any non-public information to the rest of the fleet. The focus is simply on sharing your experience of racing offshore.
