Chelsea Freas is a meteorologist and lifelong sailor who brings together the science of weather and the strategy of sailboat racing. She has worked with Olympic-level teams including the US Sailing Team, and her experience spans everything from one-design racing to offshore navigation and global forecasting. Through her company SeaTactics,  she helps sailors gain a competitive edge through smarter, more informed weather decisions.

She will be hosting a course “Newport-Bermuda Race 2026 Strategy Lab”
