Last Call for Early Birds!

September 20, 2023

Eighty-four teams have signed up for the 2024 Newport Bermuda Race on BermudaRace.com since registration opened in June. This is a reminder that the early bird entry window ends THIS FRIDAY, September 22nd.  Fees will increase by $5 per foot for all divisions. Please take a look at the Official Notice Board to find the Notice of Race with details on costs and refund policies.

Skippers are telling us they are enjoying the vastly improved race entry process. The streamlined checklist function and profile pages make registering and finding information easy. We recommend all sailors read the step-by-step guide to the new entry system, create accounts, and enter the race.

Since we last reported, we welcomed our first multihull this week. Adrian Keller's 84-foot Nigel Irens design catamaran Allegra, hot off her repeat win in the 50th Rolex Fastnet Race this summer. His crew have been sailing together for many years, and we are happy they are joining us on this side of the pond.

Another racing machine new to the Bermuda Race but not the big ocean races is Denali^3. Bill McKinley and his crew were the first monohull to finish this year's 2023 TransPac and ultimately, we ended up 3rd in thier Division and 7th Overall on corrected time.

We plan to welcome all the teams on our social media channels. Be sure to follow @BermudaRace for fun facts about teams or the "Who's Entered" page, where teams can create their own profiles.
