For those fortunate enough to be heading to Bermuda this summer, there is still a big question: how to make the journey back. However, fear not, for the Bermuda Short-Handed Return race awaits as an enjoyable and challenging solution for sailors making their sail back to Newport, R.I.

This thrilling event not only promises a competitive edge but also ensures a safer passage through meticulous tracking, on-call medical assistance, and the reassuring presence of fellow competitors on the course, ready to lend a helping hand if the need arises.

Registration has officially opened for the eagerly anticipated second edition of the Bermuda Short-Handed Return, a collaborative effort between the New York Yacht Club, Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, and the Cruising Club of America.

In its inaugural edition, the race showcased the prowess of 18 doublehanded boats and three singlehanders. The triumph of the female duo, Sara Stone and Cat Hunt, added an extra layer of significance to the event.
