Newport Race Headquarters
The Bowen’s Wharf Company and the Seamen’s Church Institute, adjacent to each other, will anchor the race headquarters, providing easier access to competitors and a public profile for the race. Participant registration, Bermuda Customs pre-clearance, yacht tracker distribution, media communications, and exhibits will be included.

Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, one of the most popular and recommended shipyards in the U.S., is a full-service marina and shipyard with over 3,500 linear feet of dock space that can accommodate yachts up to 300-plus feet. Its amenities include a dockside café, ship store, fitness center, courtesy vehicles and crew housing. With its friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and event planning capabilities, Newport Shipyard also is host to many other prestigious yachting events, including the Newport Charter Yacht Show, Newport Bermuda Race Crew Party, Candy Store Cup superyacht regatta, Newport Yacht Rendezvous benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County, and the Newport Brokerage Boat Show.
Containers to Bermuda Load at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, and Safe Harbor (NEB)
Masterpiece International, a logistics solution provider, has been contracted to assist captains and crews wishing to send gear, sails, etc. to Bermuda. Loading of containers will take place at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, and at Safe Harbor (NEB), every day from June 15th to June 18th, from 0900-1600. Space in the containers provided by Masterpiece International is available on a first-come, first served basis. Please complete and submit this form and make payment arrangements as soon as you can for a smooth transaction. Any forms after May 20th could run the risk of space related costs. Bermuda Customs and Border Protection has been very gracious in accommodating the race, and race participants, with a simplified reporting format. Careful attention to proper completion of this information is important both to this year’s race, and to future race participants.
The form should be printed, completed and emailed to Masterpiece International

The start of the Newport Bermuda Race is a spectacular sight from shore and also the water, with more than 150 boats maneuvering and starting off Castle Hill in multiple classes. The first gun is expected at 1:00 p.m., and the last start, by 3:30pm. Watch from the shore, the water, or online.
