Special Sail Newport Presentation (now available via Zoom)

The return of our Challenger Lecture Series starts on January 25 with a special presentation on The 53rd Newport to Bermuda Race. Learn why sailors have been captivated since 1906 to participate in the 636-nautical mile trek nicknamed "Thrash to the Onion Patch."

The race is considered one of the most prestigious and challenging offshore races as boats navigate the Atlantic and Gulf Stream and race for the finish in the island paradise. An average of 180 boats in eight divisions compete, ranging from 32.5' family cruisers to 100'+ super yachts.
