Competitor Bulletin #23 – Immigration Hours Extended and Reminder to Turn on Trackers

June 15, 2022

Bermuda Immigration at Sail Newport extends Hours
Due to the logistics of COVID requirements, the lines at Sail Newport for clearing immigration have been long and we appreciate the patience of all the competitors. The Bermuda Immigration agents have graciously extended their hours to assist all our sailors to clear immigration as efficiently as possible. Immigration at Sail Newport will now be open until 9 pm tonight (June 15th) and will open at 7 am tomorrow (Thursday, June 16th) and stay open until 9 pm again. We strongly encourage sailors to not wait to pre-clear and appreciate the continued cooperation we are seeing here at Sail Newport.

Switch on Your Trackers by Thursday at Noon
Please mount and turn on your Bluenose Yacht Sales YB Trackers by noon on Thursday so we can check that all are functional while there’s still time to sort out any problems. Once you have turned your tracker on visit, to see that your boat show up online. If it does not show, then contact us at [email protected].

Warm regards,

Somers Kempe, Chairman
