2018 Newport Bermuda Race start Class 9

Dear Sailors:

One of our goals for next year's Newport Bermuda Race is to make it simpler to enter, and one of the best ways we can do that is to help you start the entry process earlier. We opened the entry system in June and many of you have already entered the race—roughly a quarter of the expected fleet.

In case you missed it, we have placed a financial incentive in our entry-fee structure to encourage making an early start. If you enter now, you can be sure that next spring's build-up to the race will be less frenetic as you complete boat and crew preparations.

The deadline to take advantage of the race's initial entry fee is Friday, Sept. 20th. So why wait? Log onto the SailGate entry system, fill out the form, pay your deposit, and save money with a reduced entry fee.

Fair winds!
