Competitor Bulletin #10: Sailing Instructions Posted and other important reminders
The Sailing Instructions for the 2024 Newport Bermuda Race have been posted to the Official Noticeboard. Please review them in detail. Also note that an amendment to the Notice of Race was posted last week.
As we gear up for the next phase of the race preparations, we have also have some important last-minute reminders to ensure you make the most of your race experience:
All PICs and Entry Managers, check your entry task list on the entry system before presenting for Registration at Sail Newport. Only entries with ALL tasks cleared will be allowed to complete registration and be cleared to race. If you (or your crew) have ANY outstanding tasks, please clear them before showing up for onsite registration.

Eight Bells: Commodore John D. Osmond, III, MD
Eight Bells for John Osmond, a dedicated sailor who competed in 15 Bermuda Races and served as the 2012 Chair and PRO for the following decade. John, alongside his beloved wife Ellyn, was an integral part of the Bermuda Race community for many years. His passion for offshore racing and sailing was unmatched, and his calm and kind demeanor left a lasting impact. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
