Competitor Bulletin #28: Navigators Forum & Gulf Stream Charts for Return
Dear Race Captains and Sailors,
Today's message is especially for navigators and those sailing back to Newport or other destinations.
Our traditional Navigators Forum, moderated by Frank Bohlen, will take place at 1500 in the RBYC Main Dining Room on Thursday afternoon. All are welcome to participate, listen, and learn from each other.
We have again arranged with Jenifer Clark's Gulfstream to provide the fleet with Gulf Stream charts for the trip back to the East Coast. Charts are being posted daily on the Official Notice Board. See "Other Documents section" under "Bermuda & Post-Race Forms."
We appreciate the arrival of this great fleet once again in Bermuda after four years' absence and look forward to seeing the last group of boats arriving tonight and tomorrow.
Our thoughts in particular are with Colin Golder's family and the crew of Morgan of Marietta. The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club will continue to fly its ensign at half mast this week.
Warm regards,
Somers Kempe, Chairman
