Special Entry Required for Family, Youth, Regional, & Other Prizes

These five prizes require a Special Entry by June 17. They are based on cross-divisional scoring.

Pratt Trophy. Top team consisting of three boats entered in one or more of these divisions: St. David’s Lighthouse, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Cruiser, Double-Handed.

Regional Prizes. Top boat from each of these regions: Chesapeake Bay, Deep South, Pacific Coast, Great Lakes, Canada. Boats may sail in one of these divisions: St. David’s Lighthouse, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Cruiser, Double-Handed.

William L. Glenn Family Participation Prize.  Top boat with a minimum of four family members, at least one of whom is a member of the afterguard. Boats may be in any of these divisions: St. David’s Lighthouse, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Cruiser.

Stephens Brothers Youth Prize.  A new award honoring Olin and Rod Stephens, sailing greats who first raced to Bermuda in their youth, this award goes to the top boat with a qualifying Youth crew. Boats may sail in the St. David’s Lighthouse or Cruiser Divisions.  Each qualifying Youth sailor successfully completing the race will receive insignia as a member of the Newport Bermuda Race Stephens Brothers Society.

City of Newport Trophy. Best performing foreign boat entered in one of these divisions: St. David’s Lighthouse, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Cruiser, Double-Handed.
