All are welcome to compete in the 2024 Online Newport Bermuda Race with Sailonline.org, starting on Friday, June 21st. This race will be a test of navigational and routing skills in a race simulation under the same conditions that the 2024 fleet will be sailing IRL (in real life).
Registration for the race is currently open at Sailonline, and the portal will open for pre-race practice on Thursday, June 13th, at 2300 UTC, or 1900 ET. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each division, including a technical bag for first place, from sponsors BankNewport and Team One Newport, a canvas bag for second place, from sponsor Barton & Gray, and a race cap for third place from the Bermuda Race Organizing Committee. Additionally, all 12 winners will receive a poster of the race. Be sure to register below for recognition.
Registration is free into any of the four divisions, and depending on your choice, you'll compete in a one-design fleet against other sailors. Prizes will be awarded for top finishers in all divisions:

While the race is underway, the race committee will release announcements and rhumbline forecast from Commanders Weather twice a day (usually around 0800 and 1800).
